What is the Wuqing Nourishing Health Pad?
It is a single-use pad that attaches to the gusset of your underwear and absorbs moisture, in the same broad category as a panty liner or hygiene pad. The instructions printed on the box tell you to replace the pad once more than about a quarter of it is moist with discharge, and otherwise every four to six hours.
The packaging displays several names and brand marks, which is why the product can be hard to find online. The front panel reads Wuqing Nourishing Health Pad, the brand mark beside it is NRP Nouripad, the Norland crest appears on the box, and the French panel reads Serviette spéciale de soin Wuqing. All of these refer to this one product, distributed by Norland.

The packaging lists a functional chip but does not disclose its composition or state a clinically established function, and no herbal extract, negative-ion or far-infrared component appears anywhere on the materials panel. Recs-Medix therefore makes no antibacterial, hormonal, detoxification, far-infrared or negative-ion claim for this product.
How to use it
- Wash and dry your hands before handling the pad.
- Take one pad from the box and remove the adhesive backing.
- Attach the pad securely to the gusset of clean underwear, with the rounded end towards the front. The adhesive sticks to the underwear, not to your skin.
- Replace the pad when more than about a quarter of it is moist, and otherwise every four to six hours.
- Adjust how long and how often you wear it to suit your own comfort.
- Use each pad once. Wrap it and put it in a bin — never flush a pad.

What this product does not do
Earlier descriptions of this pad, including our own, carried claims that the packaging, the NAFDAC registration and the published evidence do not support. They have been removed. To be clear, this pad does not:
- treat or prevent vaginal, urinary or sexually transmitted infections;
- shrink fibroids or ovarian cysts;
- unblock fallopian tubes or improve fertility;
- detoxify the kidneys, womb, blood or any other internal organ;
- improve libido, stamina or sexual performance.
It is a hygiene product. If you have a health concern, see a doctor rather than relying on a pad.
Precautions and when to seek medical advice
- For external use in underwear only.
- Single-use product. Do not reuse and do not flush.
- Replace every four to six hours, or sooner when moist.
- The pack advises that pregnant users and people prone to allergies should use it with caution.
- Do not use on or around injured, broken or irritated skin.
- Stop use if itching, burning, redness or a rash occurs.
- Store in a cool, dry place and keep the box closed.
- Fragrance is not listed among the main raw materials on the pack.
Discharge is normal and changes through the menstrual cycle. Speak to a doctor, pharmacist or sexual health clinic — rather than reaching for another pad — if you have any of the following, which the NHS lists as reasons to get checked:
- discharge that changes in colour, smell or texture;
- itching, burning, soreness or pain when passing urine;
- pelvic or lower abdominal pain;
- bleeding between periods or after sex.

Check your box on arrival. The outer carton should be sealed and undamaged, print Wuqing Nourishing Health Pad on the front and side panels, and show the Norland crest alongside the NRP Nouripad mark. NAFDAC number A3-100536 is printed on the front panel and can be checked against the Greenbook entry linked above. The back panel carries bilingual English and French instructions, the raw materials list, the manufacturer’s hygienic licence and standard numbers, and the Beijing distributor address. Check the date printed on your box before you start using it, and store both boxes somewhere cool and dry.

How many pads are supplied?
Fourteen. The product is supplied as two boxes of 7 pads. Each individual box prints “7 Pads” on the front, and the NAFDAC registration records a pack size of 7 pieces per box.
What materials are listed on the box?
Cotton mesh, a functional chip, absorbent paper and breathable film. The front panel also carries a “100% Cotton” mark, which refers to the cotton mesh rather than to every layer of the pad.
How do I attach and use the pad?

No. This is a disposable hygiene pad, and no pad of any brand treats infections, shrinks fibroids or affects fertility. If you have symptoms, see a doctor and get tested.
Can I use it during my period?
The box does not state a menstrual absorbency level. For menstrual flow, choose a product specifically labelled and sized for period protection, such as the 288mm Norland Anion Sanitary Napkin.
