What is Milnapath D-Man and who is it for?
Milnapath D-Man is a ginseng-led men’s herbal supplement and five-botanical men’s wellness formula made in Nigeria for adult men, supplied as 500mg capsules, 60 to a bottle, with a labelled dose of three capsules twice daily. The blend contains five plant ingredients — ginseng, nutmeg, plantain, moringa and black pepper — and the bottle carries NAFDAC registration number A7-101513L.
It is produced and packaged by Millennium Nature’s Path International, trading as Milnapath, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. Milnapath makes a range of Nigerian herbal supplements, teas and skincare, and D-Man is the one made specifically for men — “made specially for men” is printed on the front of the bottle. Recs-Medix is an authorised distributor of Milnapath products in Nigeria.
This is a dietary supplement, not a medicine. It is intended to support general health and wellbeing, not to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
What does Milnapath D-Man provide as a five-botanical men’s herbal supplement?
Six capsules a day supply 2,985mg of declared plant ingredients, led by 900mg of ginseng. It is a botanical formula taken as part of a daily men’s wellness routine rather than for a single occasion, and the composition is published in full below so you can see exactly what you are taking.
What is inside each D-Man capsule?
Each capsule is 500mg and the five ingredients are declared as percentages. The table converts those into milligrams per capsule and per day at the labelled dose.
| Ingredient | % of blend | Per capsule (calculated) | Per day at 6 capsules (calculated) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ginseng | 30% | 150mg | 900mg |
| Myristica fragrans Houtt. (nutmeg) | 22.5% | 112.5mg | 675mg |
| Musa paradisiaca (plantain) | 18.5% | 92.5mg | 555mg |
| Moringa oleifera | 15% | 75mg | 450mg |
| Piper nigrum (black pepper) | 13.5% | 67.5mg | 405mg |
| Total declared | 99.5% | 497.5mg | 2,985mg |
The five listed ingredients account for 99.5% of the declared 500mg capsule weight, equivalent to 497.5mg when calculated from the percentages. The remaining 0.5% is not identified on the label.
Milligram figures are calculated from the declared percentages against the 500mg capsule strength. For any further detail on the formula, contact our team and we can check the available product information for you.
What are the five botanicals in D-Man?
Ginseng — 30%
The root of plants in the Panax genus, native to the mountains of East Asia and the most heavily represented ingredient in this formula.
Myristica fragrans Houtt. — 22.5%
Nutmeg, the seed of an evergreen tree native to the Banda Islands of Indonesia and valued worldwide as a culinary spice. It is the second-largest component here and the one carrying the clearest limits on quantity — see the side-effects section below.
Musa paradisiaca — 18.5%
Plantain, a West African dietary staple whose stem, root, flower and unripe fruit all appear in traditional herbal preparations across Nigeria and Ghana.
Moringa oleifera — 15%
The drumstick tree, grown throughout northern Nigeria and eaten as a leaf vegetable as well as taken as a supplement.
Piper nigrum — 13.5%
Black pepper, the dried fruit of a flowering vine native to South India. Its piperine content is why the medication section below matters on this particular formula.
How do you take D-Man capsules?
Take three capsules twice daily — six capsules a day in total — with water. At that dose, one 60-capsule bottle is a ten-day supply, so continuous use over a month takes three bottles. Take the capsules with food if they feel harsh on an empty stomach.
Ginseng is stimulating for some people and is a recognised cause of restlessness and disturbed sleep. If you find your sleep affected, keep the same six capsules but take the second dose earlier in the evening rather than close to bedtime.
Do not exceed six capsules a day. Taking more does not accelerate anything, and on a nutmeg-containing formula it moves towards quantities that have not been established as safe.
Results vary between individuals. Supplements are intended to support a healthy diet and lifestyle, not to replace them.
Who is D-Man suitable for?
D-Man is made for adult men and suits those building a daily routine around plant ingredients rather than synthetic ones.
- Adult men looking for a Nigerian-made herbal supplement with a NAFDAC registration number on the pack.
- Men who already take ginseng and want it in a blend rather than on its own.
- Men who prefer a wholly botanical formula to a synthetic one.
- Customers abroad who want authentic Nigerian herbal products shipped to them rather than bought from an unverified reseller.
- Men who want to see the full composition and the daily amounts before they order.
What should you know before taking D-Man?
Who should avoid D-Man or check with a doctor first?
Some people should not take this product, and others should get medical advice before starting. Read this section before ordering.
- Pregnant women. D-Man is not recommended during pregnancy, as printed on the bottle. Nutmeg above culinary amounts is separately advised against in pregnancy.
- Children. Keep away from children, as printed on the bottle.
- Anyone under 18. Recs-Medix supplies this product to adults only.
- Anyone taking prescription medicine. Speak to your pharmacist or doctor first — see the medication section below, which applies to this formula more than to most.
- People with diabetes. Ginseng and moringa have both been reported to lower blood sugar, which combined with glucose-lowering medicine can push blood sugar too low.
- People with high or unstable blood pressure, or a heart condition. Ginseng has been associated with blood pressure changes in both directions.
- People with a psychiatric condition or taking psychiatric medicine. Nutmeg in excess is specifically advised against in this group, and ginseng taken with MAOI antidepressants has been reported to cause agitation.
- Anyone taking levothyroxine for a thyroid condition. Moringa may reduce how well levothyroxine is absorbed.
- Anyone due to have surgery. Stop herbal supplements well in advance and tell your surgical team what you have been taking.
- Anyone allergic to nutmeg, black pepper, plantain, moringa or ginseng.
Does D-Man interact with any medicines?
It may, and this formula carries more interaction potential than a typical single-herb supplement, because three of its five ingredients have documented effects on how the body handles medicines. If you take anything on prescription, check with a pharmacist before starting.
Black pepper. Piperine, its main alkaloid, inhibits CYP3A4 and P-glycoprotein — two of the main systems the body uses to clear drugs. In studies of isolated piperine at small daily doses, blood levels of carbamazepine rose by roughly half and of fexofenadine by around two-thirds. Those figures describe the isolated compound rather than this product, and how much piperine six capsules deliver depends on the preparation used.
Ginseng. It may reduce the effectiveness of warfarin, add to the blood-sugar-lowering effect of diabetes medicines, interact unpredictably with blood pressure medicines, reduce the effect of immunosuppressants, and combine poorly with MAOI antidepressants and with caffeine.
Moringa. It may reduce absorption of levothyroxine and add to the effect of diabetes medicines.
Herb–medicine interactions are an area where evidence is often thinner than the warnings suggest, and the US National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health publishes a clear summary of what is and is not well established. Take the list above to your pharmacist rather than acting on it alone. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Does D-Man have side effects?
Like any concentrated botanical taken daily, D-Man can cause side effects. Most are mild and settle once the product is stopped, and the most likely come from ginseng and nutmeg, the two largest components of the blend.
Reported effects of ginseng include difficulty sleeping, headache, nervousness, nausea, diarrhoea and changes in blood pressure. Digestive discomfort is common with any herbal capsule taken at the labelled regimen of three capsules twice daily, and is more likely on an empty stomach.
Nutmeg deserves its own note. At six capsules daily this product supplies 675mg of nutmeg. Acute nutmeg toxicity is associated with amounts around 5g, so this sits well below that level, but it is above a culinary amount and it is taken every day. Drug and natural-product references are clear that nutmeg is recognised as safe at food levels and that safety above food levels has not been established.
Stop taking D-Man and seek medical advice if you develop a rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, palpitations, severe headache, dizziness, confusion, persistent stomach pain, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
What D-Man does not do
D-Man is a herbal food supplement. It is not a medicine, it does not treat any disease, and it is not a substitute for medical care or for anything your doctor has prescribed.
Several of the benefits printed on the bottle name medical conditions. Those are matters for a doctor to diagnose and treat, and Recs-Medix makes no claim that this product treats, relieves or prevents any of them. The bottle carries the manufacturer’s own disclaimer that its claims have not been evaluated by NAFDAC.
One point is worth raising directly. If you have had ongoing difficulty getting or keeping an erection, book a check-up alongside whatever else you choose to take. It is frequently the first outward sign of narrowed blood vessels, raised blood pressure, high cholesterol or type 2 diabetes, which is why NHS guidance advises seeing a doctor when the problem lasts more than a few weeks. That check is quick, and catching any of those early is worth having.
- It does not replace prescribed medicine, and no prescribed medicine should be stopped, reduced or delayed in order to take it.
- It is not a fertility treatment. Couples having difficulty conceiving should be assessed together by a clinician.
- It is not a hormone product and contains no testosterone or hormone precursors.
- Any effect builds over weeks of consistent use rather than overnight.
- It is not a substitute for sleep, food, exercise or managing stress.
How do you store D-Man and check it is genuine?
Store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, close the cap firmly after every use, and keep it out of the bathroom and away from heat sources such as cookers and windowsills. Keep out of reach of children, and check the expiry date printed on the bottle before use.
You will receive one sealed bottle of 60 capsules at 500mg. The bottle is dark and squat, with a black and green wrap-around label and a translucent screw cap over a tamper band at the neck. The front carries the Milnapath International logo and the line “new wave to nature’s abundance” above the D-Man name, with “500mg X 60 Capsules” and “Made specially for men” beneath it.
Check three things when your order arrives:
- NAFDAC registration number A7-101513L on the back panel, below the storage line.
- Production and expiry dates printed in the two spaces beneath the NAFDAC number. Check that both fields are filled in; these are useful pack checks but do not by themselves prove authenticity.
- An intact seal. If the seal is broken or missing when you open the parcel, contact us before taking any capsules.
The back panel also carries the manufacturer’s name and Yenagoa address, the caution lines, the storage condition and the NAFDAC disclaimer. Recs-Medix sources this product directly from authorised supply and does not sell opened, repackaged or grey-market stock.

Frequently asked questions about Milnapath D-Man
What is D-Man used for?
D-Man is a herbal food supplement made for adult men, built around ginseng with nutmeg, plantain, moringa and black pepper, and taken as part of a daily routine. It is not a treatment for any medical condition, and anything you would see a doctor about should be taken to a doctor.
How many D-Man capsules should I take a day?
Six — three capsules twice daily, with water. That is the dose printed on the bottle. One bottle of 60 capsules therefore lasts ten days, so plan for three bottles a month if you intend to take it continuously.
Does D-Man have side effects?
It can. Sleep disturbance, headache, nervousness and digestive upset are the most likely, mainly from the ginseng content. Stop taking it and get medical advice if you develop a rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, palpitations, confusion or persistent stomach pain.
Can I take D-Man with my blood pressure or diabetes medicine?
Ask your pharmacist or doctor before you do. Ginseng and moringa can both lower blood sugar, and ginseng has been associated with blood pressure changes in both directions. This is a check worth making rather than an absolute bar, and your pharmacist can make it in a few minutes.
Is D-Man NAFDAC registered?
Yes. NAFDAC registration number A7-101513L is printed on the back of the bottle. Registration confirms the product has been through NAFDAC’s process; it is not an endorsement of any health claim, and the bottle carries the manufacturer’s own disclaimer to that effect.
Who makes D-Man capsules?
Millennium Nature’s Path International, trading as Milnapath, based in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. The range also includes Nakom Oil, GlucoCare, Detox Plus, Gynocare and Kardiamil, which you can browse on the Milnapath brand page.
Can D-Man be shipped outside Nigeria?
Yes. We ship by DHL Express to the USA, UK, Canada, the EU and Australia, typically arriving in three to five business days. Check your own country’s rules on importing herbal supplements before ordering, as these differ by destination.
